Logic Pro X Tips That Actually Matter
1. Learn the Stock Plugins First
Logic's built-in plugins are incredible. Channel EQ, Compressor, Space Designer — master these before buying third-party stuff. I used stock plugins exclusively for years.
2. Flex Time is Your Friend
Tighten up vocals, fix timing issues, get creative with pitch. Flex Time alone can transform amateur recordings into professional-sounding tracks.
3. Create Templates
I have templates for hip hop, country, EDM — each with my go-to plugins and routing already set up. Saves hours and keeps sound consistent.
4. Reference Tracks
Import a song you want to sound like. A/B compare constantly. This is how you train your ears and close the gap between amateur and pro.
